"When the vine are young Ribolla Gialla is very generous in its yields, it needs to be tamed and kept under control, otherwise it produces four or five brunches per cane. Then, as it ages, it is far less generous, fins its own balance, and gives only a very few bunches, smaller and more open but very rich and concentrated. It is a savory grape, with a somewath tought pulp, chewy, fine for eating. Above all it needs sinchine, it asorbs it, is colored by it. When it becomes ripe it is no longer yellow but rather a splendid orange in color".
